What we collect today, and how we’re building care into your collection’s future.
Just your email.
When you join the waitlist, we keep your email address with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, so we can tell you when early access opens. We don’t ask for your name, collection details, or payment information.
We don’t sell your address, publish it, or use it for advertising. We keep it until you ask us to remove it or we close the waitlist. To have it removed, email hello@versoregistry.com from the address you signed up with.
Your collection stays private.
We’re building Verso with private workspaces and explicit access permissions. Records and files will be protected in transit and in storage. Authorized Verso services can process them to provide the product. You’ll be able to export your records and original files.
These are commitments for the product we’re building. The artworks on this site are public museum examples, not customer collections.
How AI and images are handled.
AI capture and scanning are planned optional features. To suggest artwork details, our AI providers would need to read the photos or documents you submit for that task. You review the suggestions before saving. We’ll explain which providers are involved and how they handle your information before you use these features.
Our image provider, Cloudflare, will also keep readable display copies of photographs to show thumbnails and larger views. Those copies stay stored while they’re used in your collection; they aren’t just processed temporarily. Access is restricted to authorized people.
Originals, PDF documents, and previews will remain private. Verso’s authorized services and storage providers can process these files; you won’t need to manage a separate collection passphrase or recovery key.
